What Employment Hero is
Employment Hero is an Australian HR, payroll and onboarding platform built for small and medium businesses. Contracts, policies, leave, timesheets, performance reviews and employee records sit in one system instead of a filing cabinet and three inboxes. New starters sign their paperwork on their phone before day one. Managers approve leave without a text message at 9pm.
We’ve used it with clients for a while now. So when a business with 5 to 50 staff asks us what to use, Employment Hero is the platform we recommend.
What an Employment Hero Certified Partner does for you
It means we do more than recommend the software and wave goodbye. We’re trained on it, we work in it every week, and we have a direct line to the Employment Hero partner team when something needs sorting.
In practice, we now offer four things:
- Employment Hero set-up and implementation. We build your account properly, with contracts and policies matched to the right modern award and onboarding that runs itself.
- Employment Hero training. Short sessions on your own account for owners, managers and the person running the admin.
- HR audit and clean-up. Already on Employment Hero? We check it’s set up right, fix what isn’t, and tell you what we changed and why.
- Ongoing support. For Strategic Partner clients, your outsourced HR manager works inside your Employment Hero account, so nothing falls between the system and the advice.
The software is the easy part. What goes into it is the hard part. A contract template is only as good as the award it’s matched to. A probation review is only as useful as the conversation that goes with it. That’s where twenty years of HR comes in.
